ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on March 5th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

3750 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share

36195 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

21000 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

32140 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

15000 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share

26973 ordinary shares at 27 pence per share

42693 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 33,192,633

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,310,863,063
