TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 18 January 2011 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
3,836 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 266.00 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,871,865 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,204,141 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
