Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on September 9th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

6,3971 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

5,000 ordinary shares at 114.7 pence per share

2,500 ordinary shares at 113.5 pence per share

262,544 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

7,500 ordinary shares at 104.2 pence per share

5,000 ordinary shares at 94.75 pence per share

10,496 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

14,638 ordinary shares at 65 pence per share

66,407 ordinary shares at 60 pence per share

80,000 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 72,264,686

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,271,791,010.
