Transfer of Treasury Shares

10th May 2010

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on May 7th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

38625 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

16651 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

10482 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

In addition *1,429,640 ordinary shares were transferred from treasury stock for the vesting of Share Awards under the Employee Equity Plan.

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held *30,110,553

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was *1,313,945,143.
