ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on July 30th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

19420 ordinary shares at 0.19 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 0.25 pence per share

42000 ordinary shares at 0.38 pence per share

304447 ordinary shares at 0.4375 pence per share

5535 ordinary shares at 0.47 pence per share

5946 ordinary shares at 0.56 pence per share

13448 ordinary shares at 0.7 pence per share

15000 ordinary shares at 0.81 pence per share

3603 ordinary shares at 0.94 pence per share

4100 ordinary shares at 0.9475 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 1.005 pence per share

1875 ordinary shares at 1.0425 pence per share

382045 ordinary shares at 1.055 pence per share

7500 ordinary shares at 1.1475 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 1.185 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 77,584,300

ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,266,471,396.
