Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on Sep 09th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

40,000 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

30,000 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

6,666 ordinary shares at 37 pence per share

20,000 ordinary shares at 50 pence per share

5,482 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

16,200 ordinary shares at 106 pence per share

21,000 ordinary shares at 119 pence per share

31,945 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

1,000 ordinary shares at 133 pence per share

18,970 ordinary shares at 247 pence per share

29,019 ordinary shares at 335 pence per share

10,000 ordinary shares at 375 pence per share

In addition 241 ordinary shares were transferred from treasury stock for the vesting of Share Awards under the Employee Equity Plan.

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 23,359,693

ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,320,696,003.
