ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on March 1st, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

9750 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share

31750 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

1875 ordinary shares at 116 pence per share

5837 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 94.75 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

12000 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

25804 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

25000 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 34,080,354

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,309,975,342
