TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 3 May 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
538 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 334.00 pence per share.
915 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 329.00 pence per share.
121 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 247.00 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,287,027 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,788,979 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
