Persimmon Plc ("the Company" )- Transfer of Shares held in Treasury
Persimmon Plc announces that on 10 September 2008 it transferred 4,553 Ordinary Shares to participants in the Persimmon Plc Long Term Incentive Plan to satisfy the exercise of options at a price of £7.465. On the same day, 25,000 Ordinary Shares were transferred to a participant in the Persimmon Plc Executive Share Option Scheme 1997 to satisfy the exercise of an option at a price of £3.06 and 9,464 shares were transferred to a participant in the Beazer Group Discretionary Share Option Scheme 1994 to satisfy the exercise of an option at a price of £2.3774.
Following these transfers the Company holds 2,417,828 Ordinary Shares of 10p each in Treasury and the Company's issued share capital is 300,173,603 Ordinary Shares (excluding Treasury Shares).
