Inchcape PLC12 June 2006 12 June 2006 INCHCAPE PLC Share re-purchase programme Inchcape plc ("the Company") announces that on 9 June 2006, it purchased 106,818ordinary shares of 25p each. The maximum price paid was 430p and the minimumprice paid was 424p. The Company intends to hold these shares in treasury. Since the Company started buying back shares on 15 April 2005, it has acquired17,586,561 ordinary shares. Following the purchase of these shares the Companyholds 17,586,561 of its shares in treasury and has 463,580,163 shares in issue(excluding treasury shares).
