Treasury Shares

The Company announces that following the transfer of 1,223 Treasury shares from the Treasury Shares Account pursuant to the Employee Save as You Earn Scheme, the number of `A' ordinary shares of ‚£0.40 each in issue is 33,328,833 of which 1,129,965 (3.39%) are Treasury Shares.

For reporting purposes under the Listing Rules, TR1 the market should exclude any shares held in treasury.
