Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on Aug 26th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

10000 ordinary shares at 246.5 pence per share

14,720 ordinary shares at 110.4 pence per share

2907 ordinary shares at 90.95 pence per share

792 ordinary shares at 81 pence per share

40175 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 25,599,896

ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue

(excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,318,455,800.
