Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on November 16th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

18750 ordinary shares at 132.5 pence per share

123234 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

4000 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

95500 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 94.75 pence per share

13488 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

16000 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share

40000 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 65,511,997 Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,278,543,699.
