Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on Aug 23rd, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

9,792ordinary shares at 25 pence per share.

14,340 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

2,973 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

28,125 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 25,804,115

ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue

(excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,318,251,581.
