ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on October 30th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

7500 ordinary shares at 118.75 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

3250 ordinary shares at 114.75 pence per share

193000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 100.5 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 94.75 pence per share

51973 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 68,354,230
