ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on Aug 25th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

11910 ordinary shares at 246.5 pence per share

500 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share

11015 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

15000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

200 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 50 pence per share

12000 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

10000 ordinary shares at 24 pence per share

60000 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 25,668,490

ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue

(excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,318,387,206.
