TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 18 January 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
13,733 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 246.00 pence per share
198 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 329.00 pence per share
104 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 329.00 pence per share
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,364,743 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,711,263 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
