Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on 06 June 2008 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

18,701 ordinary shares at 27.00 pence per share

70,000 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share

40,280 ordinary shares at 47.00 pence per share

14,612 ordinary shares at 70.00 pence per share

7,500 ordinary shares at 104.250 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 79,459,573 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,264,596,123.
