TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Board of Hays plc advises that on 21 June 2007 it transferred 32,831 Ordinary Shares currently held in Treasury to satisfy awards under the `Hays plc 1995 Executive Share Option Scheme' and the `Hays plc 1996 Company Share Option Plan'.
Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 114,338,177 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of shares in issue is 1,449,758,389 (excluding treasury shares).
