Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified on 8 August 2012 of a transfer of 15,000 shares from Treasury to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 9,045,652 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 210,281,143 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
