Hammerson plc transaction in own shares
On 26 February 2010, Hammerson plc transferred 500,000 ordinary shares of 25p held as treasury shares to the Hammerson Employee Benefit Trust.
The Company's total issued share capital following the transfer comprises 702,809,926 ordinary shares of 25p each with one voting right per share. No shares are now held in treasury.
