Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on November 4th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

11700 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

20000 ordinary shares at 114.75 pence per share

30500 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

574 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

6000 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share

2888 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 67,897,259

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,276,158,437.
