ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on April 30th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

28431 ordinary shares at 246.5 pence per share

14250 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

58000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

2929 ordinary shares at 75 pence per share

1842 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

6700 ordinary shares at 43.75 pence per share

179824 ordinary shares at 27 pence per share

10000 ordinary shares at 24 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 31,859,358

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,312,196,338.
