ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on March 4th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

34125 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

22500 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

5212 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

7000 ordinary shares at 24 pence per share

36535 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 33,370,384

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,310,685,312
