Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on March 8th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

14064 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

30000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

2500 ordinary shares at 104.25 pence per share

In addition 32,185 ordinary shares were transferred from treasury stock for the vesting of Share Awards under the Employee Equity Plan.

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 33,113,884

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,310,941,812
