Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on July 29th, 2009 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

3977 ordinary shares at 0.25 pence per share

224574 ordinary shares at 0.4375 pence per share

5649 ordinary shares at 0.47 pence per share

1725 ordinary shares at 0.5 pence per share

2054 ordinary shares at 0.56 pence per share

51010 ordinary shares at 0.7 pence per share

4496 ordinary shares at 0.85 pence per share

900 ordinary shares at 0.94 pence per share

13750 ordinary shares at 1.0425 pence per share

253499 ordinary shares at 1.055 pence per share

13564 ordinary shares at 1.0575 pence per share

59295 ordinary shares at 1.25 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 78,487,190 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,265,568,506.
