TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 28 April 2011 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
1,980 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 161.77 pence per share
1,884 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 152.85 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,691,290 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,384,716 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
