Inchcape PLC08 June 2006 7June 2006 INCHCAPE PLC Share re-purchase programme Inchcape plc ("the Company") announces that on 7 June 2006, it purchased 480,000ordinary shares of 25p each. The price paid was 431p. The Company intends to hold these shares in treasury. Since the Company started buying back shares on 15 April 2005, it has acquired17,068,298 ordinary shares. Following the purchase of these shares the Companyholds 17,068,298 of its shares in treasury and has 464,098,426 shares in issue(excluding treasury shares).
