TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 8 September 2010 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
7,103 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 266.00p pence per share.16,959 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 293.00p pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 6,027,686 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,048,320 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
