TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 17 October 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
1,231 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 266.00 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total 5,045,684 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 497,030,322 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
