TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 30 December 2010 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
1,207 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 266.00 pence per share.5,495 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 146.49 pence per share.11,678 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 161.77 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 5,875,701 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,200,305 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
