HALMA p.l.c.TRANSFER OF SHARES HELD IN TREASURY |

Halma p.l.c. announces that on the dates set out below it transferred ordinary shares held by the Company in Treasury in satisfaction of awards made to employees under the provisions of the Company's Performance Share Plan (the 'Plan'), which have vested in accordance with the Plan rules, as follows: 19 December 2008 5,382 shares 23 December 2008 15,302 shares Following the above transfers, the Company holds 1,044,108 ordinary shares in Treasury. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) is 374,206,283. |
