ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on May 4th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

30000 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share

55375 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

10000 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

64300 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

2000 ordinary shares at 94.75 pence per share

23482 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

5000 ordinary shares at 50 pence per share

60000 ordinary shares at 22 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 31,609,201 Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,312,446,495.
