ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on March 10th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

3750 ordinary shares at 136 pence per share

94250 ordinary shares at 125 pence per share

89000 ordinary shares at 105.5 pence per share

26973 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

29131 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

108209 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 32,690,544

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,311,365,152
