ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on May 25th, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

26973 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

49049 ordinary shares at 60 pence per share

275 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 29,648,885

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,314,406,811
