HAYS PLC TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Board of Hays plc advises that on 23 February 2007 it transferred 27,329 Ordinary Shares currently held in Treasury to satisfy the maturity of the Hays plc UK Sharesave Scheme. 27,329 shares were transferred at 109p.
Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 107,496,995 Ordinary Shares in Treasury. The number of shares in issue is 1,456,599,571 (excluding treasury shares).
