TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 8 August 2012 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
4,924 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 266.00 pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total 5,159,414 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 496,916,592 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
