Transfer of Treasury Shares

ARM Holdings plc ("the Company") announces that on February 23rd, 2010 the following ordinary shares have been transferred from treasury stock for the purposes of employees' share scheme allotments:

355932 ordinary shares at 132.5 pence per share

15000 ordinary shares at 118.5 pence per share

3750 ordinary shares at 113.5 pence per share

2000 ordinary shares at 70 pence per share

2000 ordinary shares at 47 pence per share

4000 ordinary shares at 25 pence per share

Following the above transfers of treasury stock, the Company held 34,248,120

Ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding shares held as treasury shares) was 1,309,807,576
