TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
Amlin plc ("Amlin") announces that on 16 March 2010 it transferred from treasury to participants in its employee share option scheme(s), the following numbers of its ordinary shares of 28.125 pence each ("ordinary shares"):
5,700 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 76.33p per share; and
12,487 ordinary shares at an exercise price of 293.00p pence per share.
Following the above transfer of shares out of treasury, Amlin holds a total of 6,469,085 of its ordinary shares in treasury and has 495,606,921 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
