Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 26 August 2011 a transfer of 1,264 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's sharesave plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,095,438 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,231,357 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
