Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 2 June 2011 a transfer of 66,945 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive Performance share plan

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,261,549 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,065,246 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
