Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 10 April 2012 a transfer of 70,311 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's sharesave and executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 9,622,080 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 209,704,715 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
