Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on the 13 January 2011 a transfer of 18,640 shares from Treasury, took place to satisfy maturing share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 13,629,992 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 205,696,803 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
