Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 31 October 2011 a transfer of 37,770 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 10,637,303 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,689,492 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
