Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 2 March 2011 a transfer of 18,604 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy maturing share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 12,761,943 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 206,564,852 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
