Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 07 July 2011 a transfer of 1,011 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's share save plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,121,071 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,205,724 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
