Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 21 December 2011 a transfer of 25,104 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's executive share incentive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 10,464,631 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,862,164 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
