Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 25 August 2011 a transfer of 17,576 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's share executive plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,096,702 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,230,093 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
