Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that on 14 January 2011 a transfer of 135,311 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy maturing share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 13,494,681 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 205,832,114 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
