Treasury Shares - Transfers

In accordance with Listing Rule 12.6.4 Filtrona plc announces that it has been notified that on 8 June 2011 a transfer of 4,184 shares from Treasury took place to satisfy share options under the Company's Executive performance share plan.

Following the transfers Filtrona plc has a total of 11,257,365 ordinary shares held in treasury and a total of 208,069,430 ordinary shares in issue, excluding treasury shares.
